Locast is available natively using Sony Smart TV. Additionally, you may be able to stream to your Sony Smart TV through Apple AirPlay (2019+ models) or Google Cast (2019+ models).

  1. Go to the Home Screen on your Sony Smart TV.
  2. Launch the app store and search for “Locast” on your Sony Smart TV. Alternatively, Click here to install the app.
  3. Select “Download” to install the app.
  4. You can now stream Locast on Sony Smart TV.

Apple AirPlay

  1. Install the Locast iPhone/iPad app.
  2. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone/iPad.
  3. Start playing the content in the Locast app and select the AirPlay icon.
  4. Choose your Sony Smart TV and it will start displaying on your Smart TV.

If you have a compatible TV and you don’t see AirPlay as an option, make sure you update to the latest Sony Smart TV firmware.

Google Cast

  1. Install the Locast iPhone/iPad app or Android Phone/Tablet app.
  2. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android Phone/Tablet or iPhone/iPad.
  3. Start playing the content in the Locast app and select the Google Cast icon.
