After dropping Fox Regional Sports Networks from Dish and Sling last July, Dish Network is facing a new carriage battle. Today, NFL Network and NFL RedZone were dropped by Sling TV and Dish Network.
NFL Network, along with Fox Regional Sports Networks, had previously been available as part of the Sling’s Blue plan, while NFL RedZone was part of their Sports Extra pack. This leaves Fubo and Vidgo as the only Live TV Streaming Services that still offer the channels.

In a statement to The Streamable, a Dish spokesperson said, “We are working with the NFL to continue carrying their channels. Our goal is to reach a fair agreement, bringing NFL channels back before the season begins so that fans don’t miss any live sports action.”
NFL Media said, “While NFL Media remains committed to negotiating an agreement and has offered terms consistent with those in place with other distributors, DISH has not agreed. Without a distribution agreement DISH and Sling subscribers will miss out on…all 65 preseason games, including a record 23 live out-of-market games…a slate of exclusive games kicking off with a trio of matchups at the start of the NFL Season in addition to two Saturday doubleheaders in Weeks 15 & 16.”
In September, FOX, FS1, FS2, & Big Ten Network were dropped From Sling TV & Dish Network, but added back to the service less than two weeks later. However, in the cast of Fox RSNs, according to Dish Chairman Charlie Ergen, “It doesn’t look good that the Regional Sports will be on Dish again.
In June 2018, Dish and Sling TV lost Univision, UniMás, and El Rey in a carriage dispute. After a 9 month holdout, the the channels returned to Dish, but not to streamer Sling TV.
In November 2018, HBO and Cinemax were removed from Sling & Dish in a dispute with AT&T — and have not returned.
