PlayStation Vue Adds ABC News Live to All Streaming Plans

After shuffling MotorTrend, Destination America, and Science Channel across tiers — PlayStation Vue has added ABC News Live to their channel lineup.

ABC News Live which launched in May 2018 offers 24/7 programming including breaking news and event coverage. The channel doesn’t include commercials, but does promote ABC programming. ABC News Live will be included in their Access ($50), Core ($55), Elite ($65), and Ultra ($85) plans. PlayStation Vue joins Hulu Live TV as the only services offering the channel in their streaming bundle.

The channel is part of a growing trend of free streaming news channels like CBSN, which launched in November 2014, and NBC News Now, which launched last May.

PlayStation Vue has been quietly adding channels to their line-up over the past few months. They added Baby First to all plans, then brought Tennis Channel, beIn SPORTS, and NHL Network to their Core, Elite, and Ultra plans this summer.
