Magic Leap — the mixed-reality startup — that has raised over $1B from companies like Google shared at their developer conference yesterday just how services like DIRECTV NOW might transform watching television with their headset.
When wearing their head-mounted augmented reality display, viewers can see multiple live streams at once. In the demonstration of DIRECTV NOW, they showed someone watching 4 different live streams at the same time. You can see the demo in the video below.
DIRECTV NOW shared that an application for Magic Leap is coming sometime in 2019. It won’t come cheap though. Magic Leap’s One headset starts at $2,295.
