DIRECTV NOW Launches Cloud DVR

AT&T announced today that DIRECTV NOW is launching its Cloud DVR today. The DIRECTV NOW apps will also have a new user interface and additional features.

20 hours Cloud DVR

The True Cloud DVR will allow you to record up to 20 hours of content per month.

$5 / month 3rd Simultaneous Stream

For an additional $5 / month, you will now have the optional to have a 3rd simultaneous stream of live content.

Local Channel Roaming

You will now be able to access local channels when traveling out of your home market.

Improved App Experience

Enhanced bookmarks, navigation, and search options make it easier to watch your favorite content.

Available Now

The Cloud DVR and new features will initially be available on:

  • iPhone & iPads (iOS 10+)
  • Apple TV (4th gen and later)
  • Chromecast (for iOS)
  • Chrome & Safari

Support for Android, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast (for Android), and Roku devices will be coming soon.
