How to Watch NASCAR’s Supermarket Heroes 500 Race Live Without Cable on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV
Sunday’s Supermarket Heroes 500 will be 119th Cup race hosted by Bristol Motor Speedway in NASCAR history and will be the first race of the season to be held at The Last Great Colosseum in Bristol, Tennessee. Tune in at Fox Sports 1 beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Because this year’s race is taking place during such a crucial time in our lives, NASCAR is paying homage to some frontline heroes. Along with longtime sponsor, Food City, the race was dubbed “Supermarket Heroes” in an effort to honor those in the supermarket industry who are still working amid the coronavirus pandemic, WBIR reports.
“We’re so proud of our friends at Food City for creating this appropriate new event name for Sunday’s race,” said Jerry Caldwell, executive vice president and general manager, Bristol Motor Speedway. “During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, those who have worked tirelessly in the grocery industry to keep the shelves stocked so that we can all keep food on our tables, just can’t be thanked enough. Their efforts are amazing and we’re happy to provide a spotlight and tribute to their incredible dedication during The Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500.”
In addition, NASCAR is also making history as the first league on Venue — Facebook’s new app that allows people to talk about sports. According to CNBC, the app aims to engage fans and commentators alike during live events, since the pandemic won’t allow for gatherings. The social media giant plans on adding more leagues to the app in order to grow the service.
As with the previous Sunday’s event will take place without prior practice. Procedures have to be modified in accordance with CDC, OSHA and state and local government recommendations, NASCAR stated. In order to proceed as safely as possible, the league is mandating the use of protective equipment, health screenings for all individuals before entering the facility and maintaining social distancing protocols throughout the event.
