SiliconDust, the maker of the HD HomeRun line of digital OTA tuners, is planning to launch a new streaming service similar to Hulu Live TV, PlayStation Vue, and YouTube TV.
The service called HD HomeRun Premium TV will be $35 and will mix your OTA locals, as well ~45 cable channels. Similar to other services, there are no contracts and you pay month-to-month.
It looks like the majority of the channels will come from Disney, Viacom, Discovery/Scripps, AMC, and Turner.
Some of the channels it will include are ESPN, TNT, CNN, Discovery, E!, Bravo, and more.
While you will need a HD HomeRun Connect or Extend model to activate the service, you will be able to view all your channels on Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Chromecast, iOS, Android, and Xbox One.
