Sling Launching Free Experience on Android and Amazon Devices

Sling TV has announced that starting Tuesday, October 15, that users will be able to stream some Sling content without a subscription on Android and Amazon devices. This update follows Sling’s previous addition of a free tier on Roku devices.

Sling’s free tier will allow anyone to access free TV shows and movies, as well as subscribe to OTT subscriptions.

To use the Sling TV free experience, download the Sling TV app on a Roku, Android or Amazon device to access guest mode. Once you’re in the guest mode, you can browse and free watch content from the “My TV” screen.

Free TV Show Episodes:

  • Live PD: Police Patrol
  • Hell’s Kitchen
  • 3rd Rock from the Sun

Free Movies

  • The Illusionist
  • Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

Sling TV is also giving users a free preview of the fourth Democratic Presidential debate on CNN, Tuesday evening.
