In January, Netflix announced they were raising the price of their 2-screen plan from $10.99 to $12.99 a month. The streaming service, had been included for free for T-Mobile One customers as part of their Netflix On Us promotion. At the time, T-Mobile CEO John Legere said #NetflixOnUs wouldn't change “for now.”
Today Netflix let us know they’re increasing prices. Good news: #NetflixOnUs won’t change for now. It’s still on us! We’re working with Netflix to determine what impact, if any, this may have down the road. We will know more by 5/1!

Unfortunately, beginning July 5 — T-Mobile One subscribers who previously received Netflix Standard 2-screen plan for free will now see a $2 a month charge on their bill. Those who previously upgraded to the Netflix Premium 4-screen plan will now see a $5 charge (up from $3). T-Mobile One Plus customers will continue to receive the Netflix Standard 2-screen plan for free, or the Premium subscription for $3.
Customers who don’t want to pay the additional fee for Netflix can either remove the Netflix on Us promotion or switch to their newly announced Magenta plans. T-Mobile announced they had rebranded their T-Mobile One and One Plus to Magenta and Magenta Plus. Under the new plans, Magenta customers will only receive the Netflix basic subscription which allows you to stream in SD on a single device at the same time. This who upgrade to Magenta Plus, which includes 20GB of LTE hotspot data, will get the Netflix Standard 2-screen plan.
