These Are All the Original Shows, Classic Series, Movies and Live Content Coming to NBCU’s Peacock

What Shows & Movies Are Available on Peacock?

When Peacock launches nationally on July 15 (Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Flex Customers will have access earlier on April 15), the service will bring more than 15,000 hours of content, which will include news, entertainment, sports, late night and reality from the various properties around NBCUniversal.

Original Series and Movies

The streaming service announced an original slate, including an interview series with Kevin Hart called “Hart to Heart,” “Girls5Eva” produced by Tina Fey, “Intelligence” with David Schwimmer and a racing show from Dale Earnhardt Jr.

“Saved by the Bell” will see the return of stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley. Additionally, “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail will reboot “Battlestar Galactica,” while Soleil Moon Frye will return in an updated version of “Punky Brewster.”

Peacock will also feature “Rutherford Falls” with Ed Helms, “Dr. Death” with Jamie Dornan, Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater and a behind-the-scenes docuseries about “Saturday Night Live.”

Other original series and movies include “The Capture,” “Lady Parts,” “Code 404,” “Hitmen,” “A.P. Bio,” “Brave New World,” “Angelyne,” “Armas de Mujer” and the movie “Psych 2: Lassie Come Home.”

Library Shows

While not initially, Peacock become the exclusive home of “The Office” (2021) and “Parks and Recreation” (October 2020).

TV shows that will be available at launch include dramas such as “Law and Order,” “Law and Order: SVU,” “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.” and “Chicago Med.”

Other shows include “Yellowstone,” “Two and a Half Men,” “The George Lopez Show,” “30 Rock,” “Bates Motel,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Cheers,” “Chrisley Knows Best,” “Covert Affairs,” “Downton Abbey,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Frasier,” “Friday Night Lights,” “House,” “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “King of Queens,” “Married … With Children,” “Monk,” “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Parenthood,” “Psych,” “Royal Pains,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Superstore,” and “Will & Grace.”

Sports

Peacock will provide live coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics opening and closing ceremonies before airing on NBC in primetime. Three daily Olympics shows — “Tokyo Live,” “Tokyo Daily Digest” and “Tokyo Tonight” — will feature live coverage and highlights. In addition, Peacock will air coverage of the Tokyo Paralympics.

In August, soccer fans will have access to more than 140 Premier League games that won’t be available on linear TV, while golf fans can follow the Ryder Cup golf tournament in September.

Movies

The service will feature blockbusters and critically-acclaimed films from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, DreamWorks Animation, Illumination and content acquired from Hollywood’s biggest studios.

Peacock owns the streaming rights to the upcoming “Fast & Furious 9” and “Jurassic World 3” movies and will also feature top movies such as “American Pie,” “Bridesmaids,” “Knocked Up,” “Meet the Parents,” “Meet the Fockers,” “A Beautiful Mind,” “Back to the Future,” “Brokeback Mountain,” “Casino,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Do the Right Thing,” “Erin Brockovich,” “E.T. The Extra Terrestrial,” “Field of Dreams,” “Jaws,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Shrek,” “The Breakfast Club,” and franchises including “Bourne,” “Despicable Me,” and “Fast & Furious.”

Late Night

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” will be available on Peacock Premium earlier in the night starting at 8 p.m. ET and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” at 9 p.m. ET.

Kids

Children’s content will include “Trolls World Tour,” “The Boss Baby 2,” “The Croods 2,” “Curious George,” “Shrek,” “Shark Tale” and “Despicable Me.”

In addition, DreamWorks Animation will produce new original series, including “TrollsTopia,” “Madagascar: A Little Wild,” “The Mighty Ones,” “Cleopatra in Space” and “Where’s Waldo?”

News

NBCUniversal pointed out that Peacock will feature live breaking news coverage as well as shows such as “NBC Nightly News With Lester Holt,” “Today” and “Dateline.” Also, “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” will feature an original segment for Peacock each weekday.
