BYUtv Review
BYUtv is a free video streaming service created by Brigham Young University. Its purpose is “to create purposeful, engaging viewing and listening experiences that entertain, inspire, uplift, and improve families and communities.” Popular shows include the Angel Studios Jesus Christ biography “The Chosen” and the long-running sketch comedy series “Studio C.”

We tested BYUtv and other subscription streaming services for more than 100 hours. BYUtv is compatible with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, Xbox, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Originals
BYUtv originals include competitions like “Relative Race,” and “Dinner Takes All,” the scripted comedy “Dwight in Shining Armor,” and the sketch comedy show “Studio C.”
As you might imagine, there’s also a lot of coverage of BYU football.
TV Shows
The most popular show on the platform chronicles the life of Jesus Christ. It’s called “The Chosen.” Viewers will also see classic shows like “Highway to Heaven.”
Movies
Although the movie library is limited, you will find some Hollywood heartwarmers like “Rudy,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and “Yours, Mine & Ours.”
