What’s New on TV Tonight (5/1/2020): Stream ‘Upload,’ ‘Trying,’ ‘Prop Culture’ and More

Get into the new month with some new series to watch. Amazon Prime Video is offering up “Upload,” a new show from “The Office‘s” Greg Daniels. The sci-fi series follows an app developer who, after dying, gets uploaded into a luxurious virtual afterlife. Meanwhile, Apple TV+ is premiering “Trying,” a comedy about “growing up, settling down and finding someone to love.”

On Disney+, “Prop Culture” is taking viewers into the world of some of Disney’s famous props. Hosted by film historian Dan Lanigan, the series “reunites iconic Disney movie props with the filmmakers and actors who created and used them.” Lastly, HBO takes a look into the male-dominated world of skate-boarding through the female perspective with “Betty.”
