How to Download Movies and Shows on Disney+ (with pictures)
One of the more charming features of streaming service mobile apps is when they enable users to download movies and tv shows to later watch offline. This is a handy option if you’re on the go and won’t have internet connection while traveling (“Star Wars” movies are a great way to pass the time on a long flight!), or maybe you just want to cozy up and watch your movie on tablet or mobile instead of sitting at your computer.
Whatever your reason might be, all you need is to downloaded the Disney Plus app, and select your movie or show. The rest is easy; we’ll guide you through the process:

Open the Disney+ app on your mobile device

Sign in to your profile

Choose the movie or TV show you want to watch

Tap on the download button beneath the title
If the download icon (shown above) is not present, then this movie/TV show cannot be downloaded for legal reasons.
- Wait for the movie to finish downloading
Downloading shows is a speedy process with the Disney+ app, and should not take more than a few minutes. If you’re looking to download a number of titles or download an entire season, though, you’ll need more time and more storage space.
- Press the play button to start watching
That’s it! Once the download is finished, just press play, sit back, and enjoy!
You can download the same title as many times as you like, on up to 10 devices. The only prerequisite is that you have enough storage space available on your device (A feature length movie might take around 600-700 MB). Any content you download will remain in ‘downloads’ as long as your subscription is active.
Lastly, you’ll need to connect the Disney+-compatible device on which you downloaded your programming connected to the Internet at least once every 30 days. Otherwise the downloaded content will be removed.
