How to Stream 7 Naughty (But Kinda Nice) Christmas Movies

Being on Santa’s naughty list has its advantages. Not everyone wants to be nice all the time. But if you end up being nice enough to get a Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV under the tree, you’re in luck.

You can sneak some extra brandy in your eggnog and watch some not-so-nice Christmas flicks while tossing leftover Christmas wrapping paper and gasoline into the fire.

Scrooged

If it’s ghosts and ghouls that you’re in the mood for, why not tune into your STARZ subscription and check out Bill Murray at his finest as the celebratory 1988 curmudgeon Frank Cross in the creepy but adorable holiday classic, “Scrooged”.

If you haven’t subscribed to STARZ, they are running a special promotion until December 31 to get your first three months for only $5 a month after a 7-Day Free Trial.

Watch a more modern (albeit 80s) take on a holiday classic, as the man himself takes on three holiday spirits who teach him the error of his grouchy holiday ways.

If you’re not too much of a Scrooge yourself, you can pay $2.99 to Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, and iTunes to watch on your devices at home.

Die Hard

Is it a Christmas movie? That’s up to you to decide, but if you’re more of an explosion and gunfire fan, then check out the 1987 action classic “Die Hard.” Witness John McClane take out the bad guy in a hail of bullets on Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, or iTunes for $3.99.

Nightmare Before Christmas

If you’re in the mood for a spooky take on the festive holiday, then check out Tim Burton’s claymation tribute to the season with “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, available for free with your Hulu subscription. If you just want to rent it, you can watch it on Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, or iTunes.

You’ll be sucked into black holes and covered with creepy crawlies while enjoying the Christmas spirit with witches, ghosts and ghouls.

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

Go for some narcotic enjoyment with “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”. Join these guys as they start with a “joint” reunion that leads them down a trail of mishaps with pregnancy and holiday family fights.

If you sign-up for a 7-Day Free Trial of a Live Streaming Service like Fubo or PlayStation Vue that gets FX, you can stream it on-demand for free. Otherwise, it’s available for rent on Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, and iTunes for $3.99.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vaction

If you’re in the mood for some wackiness and cursing, then “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” is the one for you. Clark Griswald is trying to enjoy a classic family holiday, but is his disgusting cousin, Eddie’s illegal and “poopy” antics aren’t helping.

Kidnapping, electrocuted cats, and choking dogs join us in this hilarious holiday film, available to you for $3.99 on Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, and iTunes.

Elf

For a little less-conventional and more silly-willy Christmas fun, try out “Elf” directed by John Favreau. Will Ferrell’s delightful but clueless character eats bloody cotton balls and starts a fight with a mall-Santa in this comedy, available on Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, and iTunes, all for $3.99.

Bad Santa

A very dirty Christmas can be had by watching “Bad Santa” and “Bad Santa 2” starring Billy Bob Thornton and Tony Cox as two devilish crooks cheating good folks out of having an honest Christmas.

Witness the making of a Christmas pickle, or maybe a very naughty girl’s Santa fantasy all you want on Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, or iTunes for $2.99. Or you can practically steal the naughtiness for free if you have an existing Netflix account.
