Clemson enters this year’s College Football National Championship game for the second year in a row and for a fourth time in the past five years. The team has garnered 29 straight wins and has a chance to win its third national title in the past four seasons. Under the leadership of coach Dabo Swinney, the team has been “103-11 while going 9-2 in bowl/College Football Playoff games,” according to College Football News, losing only to two Alabama teams that went on to win the national titles.

Monday’s game marks LSU’s first time at the CFP championship, so they are going to have to put extra fuel into what has been an exceptional season. The team comes in with the talents of Joe Burrow who “went 29-for-39 for 493 yards and seven touchdowns (with another score on the ground),” the CFP semifinals game against the Oklahoma Sooners, the NCAA site said. Those numbers bring his record to 5,208 passing yards, 55 touchdowns and only six interceptions for the season.
