Peacock is expanding its audience reach. At its July 15 national rollout, the service will be available on Microsoft’s Xbox One devices, including Xbox One S and Xbox One X.
Xbox users can download the NBCU streamer via the Microsoft Store.
Customers have various signing options. They can access Peacock Free or upgrade to Peacock Premium directly within the Peacock app on Xbox devices using in-app purchase.
Maggie McLean Suniewick, president, business development and partnerships, Peacock, stated: “Xbox will be a great ongoing partner for Peacock.”
Peacock fully launches in July with three tiers.
There is a free, ad-supported tier with more than 7,500 hours of movies, shows, live and on-demand programming of news, sports, reality and late night. Peacock Premium is $4.99/month and offers 15,000-plus hours of content. Viewers can also upgrade to the ad-free Peacock Premium for $9.99/month.
The streamer also will be accessible via Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD.
