In April, WarnerMedia named Former Hulu CEO Jason Kilar, as the new CEO of WarnerMedia. In the months since, he brought in Former Hulu CTO Richard Tom to run technology for the company.
Now, as part of a broader reorganization, he’s putting another familiar face in charge. Andy Forssell, who was the GM & EVP of WarnerMedia’s direct-to-consumer division, will now overall WarnerMedia’s entire direct-to-consumer business. In the new role, he will directly report to CEO Jason Kilar.
As part of the restructuring, WarnerMedia’s Bob Greenblatt and Kevin Reilly, who previously oversaw HBO Max, will be leaving the company.
Forssell, like Kilar, also came from Hulu, serving as the senior vice president, content and distribution as well as acting CEO in 2013.
