Last Sunday, ‘Free Solo’, won the Academy Award for ‘Best Documentary. This Sunday, you can watch it from the comfort of your own home. The documentary follows free soloist climber Alex Honnold, as he prepares to climb the face of the world’s most famous rock, El Capitan in Yosemite National Park…without a rope. The film isn’t available on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, but you can stream it on National Geographic starting tonight.
The network will air the documentary tonight (February 3rd) at 9pm ET, live on National Geographic channel completely commercial-free. If you miss it, it will also be available to stream via the Nat Geo TV app, which can be accessed with your streaming or cable credentials.
