Netflix announced their Third Quarter results this afternoon and it has sent their stock booming. The company announced nearly $4B in quarterly revenue by reaching 130 million paid subscribers around the world.
The company has added almost 6.1 million new paid subscribers since last quarter and are forecasting an additional 7.6 million in the Fourth Quarter.
In the U.S., Netflix added 1 million new subscribers bringing their U.S. Paid Subscribers to nearly 57 million. The company generated almost $2B in revenue from their U.S. streamers.
While Netflix’s global membership was up 36% compared to this quarter last year, they expect it grow at a slightly slower pace (~30%) in the Fourth Quarter.
