The World Series features a matchup of two of the best pitching staffs in baseball. Houston has one of the dominant pitching staffs in years with Justin Verlander, Zach Greinke, and Game 1 Starter Gerrit Cole. The Nationals come into the series having swept the St. Louis Cardinals with strong pitching of their own from Patrick Corbin, Stephen Strasburg and Max Scherzer who will start Game 1.
Even though both teams have strong pitching, this is going to be a matchup of power hitting. The Nationals have a powerful lineup down the order with Anthony Rendon and Juan Soto. The Astros have the always reliable Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, and George Springer.
