It looks like the Peloton app is making its way to many more living rooms. According to 9to5Mac, the app launched on Apple TV today as “subscribers were notified on Tuesday that a new Peloton app for the Apple TV is on the way.” The move is right on par as Peloton has recently released Chromecast support for smart TVs after launching a Fire TV and Apple Watch app in December.
Prior to today’s launch, Peloton supported AirPlay and enabled users to wirelessly send content from an iOS devices to an AirPlay compatible screen. With today’s launch, members won’t need a second device to cast classes on the big screen.
Just last week, Apple TV announced they also added YouTube Kids to their platform. The app was made available in countries including the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, parts of South America, Africa as well as Asia.
YouTube Kids is available to operate with or without logging in. Parental controls set on the account automatically transfer onto the Apple TV for users who choose to login, otherwise, kids can browse and watch videos with no restrictions. Those who want to modify any of their settings can do so in the app on a tablet or phone.
