The series, which is based on “You” and “Hidden Bodies” novels by Caroline Kepnes, was originally slated for Lifetime. The first season debuted on the network then got picked up by Netflix after Lifetime canceled it. The second season launched as a Netflix original with 10 episodes.
The third season, which will also have 10 episodes, will see Penn Badgley reprise his role as Goldberg, while Victoria Pedretti comes back as Love Quinn, Variety reports. Further casting details will be revealed at a later date.
The series was co-created by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti who will come back as executive producers, with Gamble also returning as showrunner.
