BREAKING NEWS: Hulu Raises Price of Live TV by $5, Drops Price of Limited Commercials Plan

Hulu announced this morning that they will be raising Hulu Live TV by $5 a month. The service will now cost $44.99 and mirrors the price increases PlayStation Vue, DIRECTV NOW, Sling TV, and YouTube TV last year.

The price bump comes as Hulu Live TV added channels from Discovery in December.

As part of the announcement, Hulu has also permanently lower the price of the Hulu with Limited Commercials plan to $5.99 (was $7.99). In the past, the service has offered that plan for $5.99 on a promotional basis, but the new lowered pricing comes as Netflix increased prices last week.

The new pricing will go in effect on February 26 for new subscribers. Existing subscribers will see these changes reflected in their subsequent billing cycle after February 26.
