Disney+’s ‘Marvel’s 616” streams September 25. Each episode in the anthology series focuses on a guest director who discusses elements of the Marvel Universe.
The anthology series will address women of Marvel Comics, the “forgotten” characters of Marvel, fandom, history and story arcs.
To promote the show, Disney” is offering two clips. The first, “Higher, Further, Faster,” by actor/director Gillian Jacobs (“Community”), which highlights the women of Marvel Comics and how they told stories of inclusion.
The second clip is from the Paul Scheer-directed episode “Lost and Found,” which shows the comedian’s take on the “forgotten” characters in the Marvel world.
Tomorrow, Gillian and Scheer will participate in the Comic-Con@Home panel “A Look Inside Marvel’s 616.” It begins 1 p.m. PT.
