Looking for a laugh tonight? The Streamable compiled the IMDb’s Top 50 comedies to share where you can stream them.
There are certainly some issues with the list - it’s missing classics like “This is Spinal Tap,” “Borat,” “Young Frankenstein,” and “Airplane!” We wouldn’t necessarily classify Pixar films as outright comedies, but IMDb does.
The top film on the list, 2019’s “Parasite,” is a phenomenal film, but is it the funniest? Not really. Did anyone wipe away tears of laughter during “Three Billboards”? This list is more aptly described as “50 very good films that have some comedy in them.” Still, there are very funny flicks here, including “The Apartment,” “Singin' in the Rain,” and two Monty Python masterpieces.
