New Shows Streaming This Week, Including ‘The Umbrella Academy’ (Season 2) to Beyoncé’s ‘Black Is King’
Fans of the adventure-fantasy series “The Umbrella Academy” are waiting to have the world saved in the upcoming season, while the “Muppets Now,” prepping for a new medium, is coming to Disney+. It’s the first, unscripted series for the famed Jim Henson creations — and the streaming debut for Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and their friends.
Beyonce’s “Black Is King” is based on the music of “The Lion King: The Gift.” It debuts two weeks after the one-year anniversary of the theatrical release of Disney’s “The Lion King.”

- The Speed Cubers (Netflix) This doc follows Rubik’s Cube-solving champs Max Park and Feliks Zemdegs as they navigate friendship and championship challenges. (A champ can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under seven seconds!)
