These are the Six MLB Teams That Cord-Cutters Can’t Stream Locally in 2019

Tomorrow is Opening Day, and for baseball fans without cable, you may not be able to stream your favorite team this season. While most MLB teams are now available via Live TV Streaming Services, there are still six teams that you can’t stream on AT&T TV NOW, Fubo, Hulu Live TV, PlayStation Vue, Sling TV, or YouTube TV.

And if you think MLB.TV, the league out-of-market package is an option — unfortunately it’s not. Your local telecasts will be blacked out and their in-market streaming option called Follow Your Team (which was only available to cable customers) is not available this year.

Unfortunately, local fans won’t be able to stream the Baltimore Orioles (MASN), Colorado Rockies (AT&T Sports Rocky Mountain), Los Angeles Dodgers (Spectrum SportsNet LA), Pittsburgh Pirates (AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh), Seattle Mariners (ROOT Sports Northwest), and Washington Nationals (MASN) regular season games in their respective local markets.

For fans of one team though, there is some good news.

For the first time, Houston Astros can be streamed without cable. Earlier this year, Fubo partnered with AT&T SportsNet Southwest to bring live Astros games to the service.

Last season, New York Mets fans were the lucky winners as they became the latest team to offer local streaming of SNY.

If you’re a fan of one of the other 22 teams that stream on mostly Fox Sports and NBC Sports Regional Sports Networks, you have plenty of options to choose from.

fuboTV has the widest coverage of Regional Sports Networks — besides AT&T SportsNet Southwest in Houston where they are the only option, they (along with PlayStation Vue and YouTube TV) also offer NESN in Boston, as well as YES Network and SNY in New York.

For those that can stream with Sling TV, they are giving 40% OFF your first three months, meaning you can watch the first half of the season for just $15 a month.

Since every service doesn’t carries every RSN, the handy chart below shows which teams are available on each service. Click on the team name to see the full schedule and which games you’ll be able to watch with each provider.
