This Easter Egg will Unlock MTV Classic on Philo

In a post yesterday on Reddit, Philo CEO Andrew McCollum revealed that there would be an easter egg released on Thanksgiving Day. Today we learned that the surprise is that you can get MTV Classic added to Philo for free.

Here’s How to Do It:

  1. Go to Search
  2. Type “streaming killed the video star”
  3. MTV Classic will be added to your subscription for free

If it doesn’t work, you can sign out of Philo and log back in for it to appear.

MTV Classic includes shows like Beavis and Butt-head, MTV Unplugged, Run’s House, Pimp My Ride, Cribs, and Laguna Beach.
