TiVo Officially Launches Highly Anticipated TiVo Stream 4K Streaming Device
After getting an acclaimed introduction at CES Las Vegas 2020, back in January, TiVo has finally launched their TiVo Stream 4K, a device that allows users to access their streaming programming as well as live TV on one screen.
With the TiVo Stream 4K, viewers can access live television from Sling TV, alongside content from services such as Netflix and Prime Video. The device also comes with the TiVo+ content catalog, making it easier for customers to find all their favorite content in one place. The TiVo Stream 4K is available for $49.99 and comes with a free 7-day trial of Sling TV for new subscribers.
TiVo Stream 4K comes with a device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV that helps to deliver Dolby Atmos sound and Dolby Vision HDR for optimum sound. The device also comes with TiVo’s “peanut” remote control for voice search.
“At a time when viewers are streaming more than ever across a sea of platforms, TiVo Stream 4K integrates that content with recommendation and search features to make it easier to find, watch and enjoy the best news, entertainment and sports from today’s most popular services,” said Dave Shull, president and CEO, TiVo. “After an incredibly positive reception from media and the wider industry at CES, we are delivering on our promise to launch TiVo Stream 4K, which is symbolic of our company’s transformation from a well-loved DVR provider to a pioneer in the streaming market.”
Just yesterday, TiVo announced they entered into partnership with ViacomCBS’ Pluto TV, to bring the ad-supported free streaming service to the TiVo EDGE.
