The four-part Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses will premiere later this year as a simulcast event on Cartoon Network’s ACME Night and TBS. Peacock

Peacock is a subscription video streaming service from NBCUniversal that gives access to up to 15,000 hours of content including original shows, blockbuster movies, and classic television series.

It will include news, entertainment, sports, late-night, and reality from various NBCU properties including NBC, Bravo, and E!.

Just like other streaming services, Peacock will have their own original series including reboots of Save By The Bell, Punky Brewster, and Battlestar Galactica. They also have shows like Rutherford Falls (Ed Helms), Dr. Death (Alec Baldwin), and a behind-the-scenes docs-series about Saturday Night Live.

The company has acquired the rights to many classic shows like the entire Dick Wolf library including Law & Order and Chicago Fire, Parks and Recreation, and The Office.

The service will also feature blockbusters and critically-acclaimed films from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, DreamWorks Animation, Illumination and content acquired from Hollywood’s biggest studios.

  • Hulu has announced a new mystery series with Mandy Patinkin. He’ll play a detective hunting for a killer on a luxury ocean liner. The show will be called Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem. Per the official description, “everyone on board is hiding something… but is one of them a killer?”

  • The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder revival launches in 2022 on Disney+. The animated series cast, celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary, includes Lizzo; Lil Nas X; Chance the Rapper; Normani; Leslie Odom Jr., and Tiffany Haddish, among others. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder continues the story of Penny Proud and her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama.

  • Citizen Hearst streams on PBS Sept. 27 and 28. The American Experience bio chronicles one of the most powerful men of the 20th Century and the model for Orson Welles’ legendary Citizen Kane. His home, Hearst Castle, in San Simeon, Calif., was a monument to extravagance. Hearst married and had five sons, but also conducted a decades-long affair with actress Marion Davies.
