Local Now Rezension

There are several Local now original series, including “Mom Life with Adrianna Costa,” “The Great Outdoors,” and the local music series “Jams.”

Local Now’s on demand TV section mostly includes obscure or quickly-canceled series from the past, including “Partners” with Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence, “Running Wilde” with Will Arnett and Keri Russell, and something called “Beauty & the Baller.”

You’ll be hard-pressed to find many well known movies in the Local Now library, but they do have the occasional gem like “The Limey” and “Atari: Game Over.”

Local Now offers several virtual live streaming channels dedicated to specific decades of film, though what you’ll see is decidedly lower-tier entertainment.

There is a small section of kid-friendly shows you’ve never heard of, including “Smighties,” “The Gumboot Kids,” and “Raggs.” Movies are similarly obscure, including “Arlo the Burping Pig,” “Ice Girls,” and “Goonie-boys: Curse of the Mayan Coin.”
