How to Download and Install Disney+ on Your VIZIO, LG, Samsung, or Roku Smart TV

Did you get a new Smart Television for Christmas or this holiday season? Sometimes it can be confusing to install the latest streaming apps on your device.

Disney+ is available on Smart TVs from LG, Samsung, VIZIO, Sony, Roku, and more meaning that you can watch all your favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney Channel, and National Geographic movies for just $6.99 a month ($70 a year). Fortunately, it’s easy to download, install, and sign-up for Disney Plus on your Smart TV.

1. How to Sign-Up for Disney Plus on VIZIO Smart TVs

Currently Disney+ is only supported on 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 VIZIO SmartCast TVs. There is no native VIZIO SmartCast App, but you can still stream using Google Cast or AirPlay. For now, Google Cast support is limited to streaming in 720p.

If your VIZIO Smart TV is compatible, this is how you can get it working.

2. Click here to install the Disney+ iOS App on your iPhone or iPad
3. Once installed, log-in using your Disney+ credentials
4. Make sure your Smart TV is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your iOS device
5. Start playing a movie or show on the Disney+ App and select the AirPlay icon in the top right
6. Choose your VIZIO SmartCast TV and it will start displaying on your television

If you have a compatible TV and you don’t see AirPlay as an option, make sure you update to the latest VIZIO SmartCast firmware

2. How to Sign-Up for Disney Plus on LG Smart TVs

2. Once you’re signed up, press the Home button on your LG Smart TV’s remote
3. Launch the LG Content Store and select Apps
4. Highlight the Disney+ app tile and press enter on your remote
5. Select Install to add Disney+ to your LG Smart TV
6. Once installed, log-in using your Disney+ credentials to stream your favorite Disney shows and movies

2. Once you’re signed up, go to the Home Screen on your Samsung Smart TV
3. To access new apps, scroll to the left. Select Recommended or Recent Apps to open the Samsung app store.
4. Highlight the Disney+ app tile and press enter on your remote
5. Select Add to Home to install the app
