Kanopy is a streaming find. Available via select public libraries, it’s being offered free for library partners through May 31. Kanopy showcases more than 30,000 films, including acclaimed docs, rare cinema titles, indies and classic films via its website. All titles can be found here.
In addition, library partners will also get free access to Kanopy Kids.
The streamer says more than 60 percent of its inventory isn’t available anywhere else. The films are updated on a weekly basis and free for 30 days.

Movies can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android or Roku.
New titles include “The Miseducation of Cameron Post,” “Fresh Dressed,” “Ay Mariposa,” “Art House: Exploring the Homes of Artists” and “Hideous Kinky,” among others. In addition to cinema fare, Kanopy also includes free access to “The Great Courses” catalog.
Content partners are eclectic, from FilmRise and First Run Features to Muzzy BBC and the National Film Board of Canada.
