Sports Streaming Service DAZN Launches Their First Original Series

DAZN, the sports streaming service led by former ESPN President John Skipper — announced a brand new documentary series leading up to the Super Middleweight Championship fight between Canelo Alvarez and Rocky Fielding.

The three-episodes docuseries titles, “The Journey: Canelo/Rocky” will show as the boxers prep for their title match. The first episode is now available, with the remaining two released December 13 and 21 on DAZN and YouTube.

The service, which launched in the U.S. in September, previously announced deals to bring 80+ fights a year from Matchroom USA, Bellator, Golden Boy Promotions, World Boxing Super Series and Combate Americas.

This will be Alvarez first appearance on DAZN. In October, he signed a $365M deal to bring his next 11 fights live and on-demand exclusively to the service.

Sport fans will be able to watch all Canelo and 10 Golden Boy Promotions fights a year for $9.99 a month after a 1-month free trial.
