Last month, Hulu announced that they would be raising Hulu Live TV by $5 a month to $44.99. The price bump comes as Hulu Live TV added channels from Discovery in December.
The company has also quietly dropped the price of their Unlimited Screens and Enhanced Cloud DVR add-ons. Now, customers can access Hulu Live TV on Unlimited Screens in their household for $9.99 a month (was $14.99). They also dropped the price of their Enhanced Cloud DVR to $9.99 (was $14.99), which includes 500 hours of storage (up from 50) and the ability to fast-forward through commercials.
Currently, Hulu Live TV is the only service that does not include a DVR with skippable ads as part of their base plan. You can save an additional $5 if you subscribe to both add-ons, as the bundle will be just $14.99 (instead of $19.99).
Hulu has also permanently lowered the price of the Hulu with Limited Commercials plan to $5.99 (was $7.99). In the past, the service has offered that plan for $5.99 on a promotional basis, but the new lowered pricing comes as Netflix increased prices last week.
While the new pricing will go in effect today for new subscribers, existing subscribers will see these changes reflected in their subsequent billing cycle.
