TEGNA Launches Quest Free Ad-supported Streaming App Featuring Adventure Reality Content
On Thursday, Quest, a 24/7 adventure and exploration multicast network, launched a free ad-supported streaming service. Viewers can access hundreds of hours of on-demand content, including factual entertainment, science, history and engineering programs, and daring adventure-reality series.
Informative and entertaining titles like The Aviators, Scrap Kings, Mayday, Huge Moves, Monster Moves, Giant Lobster Hunters, Chasing Monsters, and Aussie Gold Hunters are among the series available to stream at launch. Quest plans to expand the app’s library with additional series in the coming months.
On the Quest app, you can also stream Farpoint Films’ Ice Vikings. The second season will premiere on Quest and be available to stream in October. TEGNA is a co-production partner for the second season of Ice Vikings.
“The Quest app offers a first-class, totally free streaming experience to ensure our viewers can watch their favorite Quest series whenever and wherever they want,” said Brian Weiss, vice president, entertainment programming and multicast networks, TEGNA. “Coupled with our prior launch of the True Crime Network streaming app, this launch furthers TEGNA’s commitment to providing outstanding ad-supported entertainment products to our viewers.”
