What Are the Best 2019 Black Friday Deals on Streaming Devices Like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV & Chromecast?

Black Friday is almost here, but stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart have already started releasing deals.

We compared the best deals on top streaming devices like Roku, Fire TV Stick 4K ($24.99, normally $49.99), Apple TV, Chromecast and Android TV (NVIDIA Shield & MiBox).

Best Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals on Media Streaming Devices

Amazon Fire TV Black Friday Deals

Amazon will dramatically discount their four primary Fire TV devices: Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Cube, and Fire TV Recast. Unlike some other retailers, their deals kicked off on Sunday, November 24.

The Fire TV Stick, which includes their updated Alexa Voice Remote that allows you to control volume and power, will be discounted to just $19.99 (normally $39.99). This is $5 lower than it was last Black Friday when it came with the old Alexa Voice Remote.

Their top-of-the line streaming stick, Fire TV Stick 4K, will be as low as $24.99 (normally $49.99), which is $10 less than last Black Friday and an all-time low.

The recently refreshed Fire TV Cube, which was released in September, will also see a major price drop. The device, which is twice as fast as the original, will be $89.99 (normally $119.99).

You can also get a 45% discount on the Fire TV Recast, now just $129 ($100 off), which allows you to watch live and recorded shows wirelessly from an Over-The Air (OTA) antenna. Both the Fire TV Recast 500GB and Fire TV Recast 1TB are each $100 off.

Roku Black Friday Deals

For the second year in a row, Roku will have some insane Black Friday deals, which will see Roku streaming players as low as just $18.

The company last week announced that Roku devices will be as low as $18 on Black Friday with a limited edition Roku SE (similar to a Roku Express) in stores at Walmart.

One of the best deals is on the Roku Streaming Stick+, which has already dropped to just $29 (normally $49.99) through Cyber Monday. The device includes the updated Roku Voice Remote, which added a mute button to the TV controls.

Starting on Thanksgiving, Roku will match their amazing Black Friday deal last year by discounting the Roku Ultra to just $49.99 (normally $100). The top-of-the-line Roku streaming player includes a brand-new Enhanced Roku Voice Remote, which added two customizable buttons. Like previous models, you will get premium JBL headphones included, which can be used with the remote’s headphone jack for private listening.

One of our favorite Roku devices, the recently released Roku Smart Sound Bar, is also getting a price drop. Normally $179.99, the device, which is a soundbar with a built-in Roku player, will be as low as $149.99 starting Thursday. You can also bundle it with the Roku Wireless Subwoofer for $269.99.

If you’re looking for a Roku TV, the company is launching their first ever onn by Roku TV and Walmart. They will have three models starting at $98 for a 40” HD model, then two 4K models starting at $148 for 50” and $190 for 58”.

As a bonus, all purchases of any new Roku device will receive three months of Hulu and Pandora Premium.

Apple TV Black Friday Deals

A few years ago, the Apple TV 4K was heavily subsidized by DIRECTV NOW for Black Friday where you could get the $170 device for only $105.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any deals will come close this year. The best offer so far is from Meijer, which is offering a $50 coupon on your next purchase when you buy any Apple TV 4K.

Chromecast Black Friday Deals

Last year, Google made a small bump to the Chromecast, which was mostly cosmetic. Most major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy will be discounting the latest Chromecast to $25 (normally $35) and their 4K streamer to $49 (normally $69).

Android TV Black Friday Deals

Last month, the most popular Android TV streamer NVIDIA Shield introduced two brand new streaming players NVIDIA SHIELD and NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro.

While there haven’t been any deals officially announced on the devices, last year they dropped the prices by 20%, so we’re hopeful they will do the same this year as well.

Walmart has already dropped the price of the MiBox to just $39.99 (normally $59.99).

Sling TV is even getting in on the Black Friday action with their AirTV Mini streaming box. For a limited time, you can get the Air TV Mini for FREE ($80 value) when you pre-pay for two months of Sling TV.
