Best shows to stream on Peacock

  • The Office

    March 24, 2005

  • Downton Abbey

    September 26, 2010

The most-watched show in 45+ years worth of PBS, Downton Abbey made record success showing how different social classes coexist or clash under one roof. Framed by the gorgeous English backdrop, all six seasons of Downton Abbey are now proudly available for viewing on Peacock.

  • Girls5eva

    May 6, 2021

  • Rockefeller Plaza

    October 11, 2006

Winner of multiple Emmy awards for both outstanding casting and writing for comedy, 30 Rock was created by Tina Fey and it shows. It’s a savage satire of the entertainment world and the off-kilter personalities that inhabit it. Funny enough, it’s based on Fey’s own experiences writing for SNL, another of our favorites for this list.

  • Friday Night Lights

    October 3, 2006

Take a trip down memory lane and walk out onto the Dillon Texas high school football field. The game is the core of Friday Night Lights, but its heart and soul lies in the small town life that surrounds and sustains it. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose.

  • Galáctica, estrella de combate

    October 18, 2004

Fans of sci-fi rejoice; the rebooted Battlestar Galactica (both the 2003 miniseries and the series immediately following) are available in their entirety on Peacock. Note that this version is a far cry from the 1970s cheese initially associated with this title. The reboot is sexy, scary, thrilling, emotional, and incredibly well acted. It encapsulates the fear we all felt in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks and the frayed society that followed. It’s got a killer soundtrack to boot. Kick back and prepare to take the fight to the Cylons.

  • Parks and Recreation

    April 9, 2009

Parks and Recreation has become a cultural landmark for its memorable characters (Ron Swanson approves this statement) and witty dialogue. Turn on an episode and suddenly you’ve binged half a season! Be sure to have plenty of breakfast food on hand. Namely bacon.

  • Cheers

    September 30, 1982

Peacock isn’t just a place to stream recent episodes of your favorite series. It’s also the home to classic TV shows like Cheers. Be prepared to throwback to all 11 seasons of Sam Malone’s bar in the ‘80s. This classic is timeless because the jokes focus on the characters and situations, not on current events. Drink up and be merry with the gold standard of sitcoms!

  • Saturday Night Live

    October 11, 1975

If you’re looking for a ton of content for your dollar, Saturday Night Live’s 46 seasons on Peacock are an easy place to start! From Steve Martin and Jackson Browne to Bill Murray and Ringo Starr, to Adam Driver and Gal Gadot, the celebrity cameos are timely but the humor is timeless. Everyone’s got a favorite sketch. What’s yours?

  • Alfred Hitchcock presenta

    October 2, 1955

Suspense isn’t defined by an era, but rather by a director. That director was Hitchcock. The brilliant mind behind classic titles like “Psycho,” “Vertigo,” and “Rear Window” brought forth this a series of self-contained episodes, each hosted and introduced by the man himself. Watch as murder and mayhem play out in the lives of characters. Time Magazine noted it as one of the 100 Best TV Shows of All Time. Claude Rains, Walter Matthau, Jessica Tandy, Charles Bronson, Cloris Leachman, Steve McQueen, Leslie Nielsen, John Cassavetes, Art Carney, Burt Reynolds, Peter Falk, and Dick Van Dyke are just some of the Hollywood legends who make appearances.

  • Frasier

    September 16, 1993

Created as a spin-off to Cheers (also on this list), Frasier continues the story of the titular character as he builds a new life reconnecting with his brother and father and working as a radio advice show host. This meticulously crafted comedy is packed with laughs. It won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy five years in a row! Frasier’s 11-year run is guaranteed to entertain.

  • El Socio

    July 30, 2013

If you’re a fan of Kitchen Nightmares (also on this list), you’ll definitely want to check out The Profit. The show stars billionaire Marcus Lemonis as he visits struggling businesses around the country and tries to resuscitate them. Unlike other reality shows, Lemonis puts his own money on the line, becoming an investor in the businesses. In some cases, Lemonis is able to help the businesses turn the corner. But when Lemonis clashes with his new partners, sparks really fly.

  • Salvados por la campana

    August 20, 1989

Time out! Saved by the Bell is on Peacock?? Yes it is.
