Sling TV

Budget-Friendly with Decent Channel Selection

How to watch TNT on Sling

If you’re on a budget and still want to enjoy TNT, Sling is a compelling option. In our experience, what we like about the service is its affordability and the variety of sports channels it offers, including TNT.

Sling comes in two packages: Orange and Blue. TNT comes with either lineup. Both packages are $40 per month or combined at $55 / month – giving you a rounded number of popular sports and non-sports channels. To add TNT, you need the Sports Pack for ($11-$15/month). It does not have a free trial, but luckily, you can save 50% off your first month for a limited time.

  • Strengths: Cheapest live streaming option with TNT; access to some of the most popular cable channels; 50 hours of DVR; flexible channel lineups, and ability to add premium content.

  • Weaknesses: No free trial; no CBS; local channel availability varies by market; interface and streaming quality are not as polished as other services; and limited channel lineup.

  • Other Channels on Sling: If you choose Sling Blue, you’ll get A&E, AMC, BET, Bravo, Cartoon Network, CNN, Comedy Central, Discovery, E!, Food Network, Fox News, FX, HGTV, History, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, MSNBC, Syfy, TBS, TLC, TNT, Travel Channel, truTV, and USA Network. If you add the Orange package, you’ll pick up Disney Channel, ESPN, and Freeform View the full Sling channel lineup.

Hulu Live TV

A Bundle for Sports & Entertainment Fans

How to watch TNT on Hulu

For viewers who want TNT, major cable channels and Disney movies, we recommend Hulu Live TV based on our experience. What we like about the service is its extensive channel lineup, which includes multiple ESPN channels, local channels, and free access to Disney+ and ESPN+.

The interface is user-friendly, and it provides a seamless streaming experience. However, it is worth noting that the monthly cost is higher compared to other options, and some users may find the ads a bit overwhelming. The price for Hulu Live TV is $76.99.

Why watch TNT on Hulu Live TV
Hulu Live TV has been around for longer than any other live TV streamer and has a polished user interface. The platform is available on all major devices and TVs and comes with a free subscription to Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu originals. Every Hulu Live TV subscriber can record TNT to their Unlimited Cloud DVR, while two users can stream at the same time. For $9.99/month, you can upgrade to use on unlimited devices at home and three on-the-road.

YouTube TV

A Well-Rounded Streaming Service

How to watch TNT on YouTube TV

YouTube TV is just as good as cable, without the cable plan. It’s got national channels, sports channels, local sports networks, and premium add-ons. At $72.99, YouTube TV is not cheap. We’ve put it further down on our list because of the price and the lack of a free trial. Users can also add NFL Sunday Ticket in addition to TNT.

Why watch TNT on YouTube TV:
YouTube TV has almost every channel you’d ever want. It comes with unlimited DVR storage, works on pretty much every device, and is home to NFL Sunday Ticket.

More TNT Streaming Tips

How to watch TNT without Cable

There are many live TV streaming services, but only four of them allow you to watch TNT online or without cable. Your first steps, before picking one of the live streaming services, are to make sure that you have the right setup to stream TNT. You’ll need:

  1. High-Speed Internet. In order to stream your favorite shows, movies, and sports on TNT, we suggest at least 25 Mbps. That way, you won’t be stuck with buffering during the most important plays.
  2. A Streaming Device. This could be your laptop or phone, but you’ll probably want it on a bigger screen to see all the plays. That will require a Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, or a smart TV that connects to the internet.
  3. An Idea Of What You Want. Live TV Streaming services range anywhere from $20 per month all the way up to $155 per month. TNT could be lightly bundled or heavily bundled based on the package and service you purchase. It’s important to know what other channels are important to you – which is why The Streamable built our matchmaker tool to help you decide when combining different channels and markets.

Once you’ve checked off that list, it is time to get a live TV streaming service that actually carries TNT. Not all streamers have TNT, but you can verify your streaming options above.

What Sports Can You Watch with TNT?

TNT carries NBA, NHL, U.S. Soccer, and AEW wrestling. There may be some other sports that appear on the channel, but those are the primary leagues you’ll see.

Can You Subscribe to TNT Without Other Channels?

TNT does not offer a standalone streaming subscription. You can get much of the same content on Max, but it’s not an identical lineup.

Ben Bowman is the Content Director of The Streamable. He cut the cord in 2009. He roots for all Detroit sports and is a fan of Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Edgar Wright, Paul Thomas Anderson, Billy Wilder, Buster Keaton, and the Coen Brothers. Ben streams on an Apple TV.
