Celebrate May the Fourth With a ‘Star Wars’ Movie Marathon and More

“Star Wars” fans worldwide celebrate the franchise phenomenon today on May the Fourth, which is also known as “Star Wars Day.” It’s also the day Disney+ debuts “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian,” an eight-episode documentary that gives a behind-the-scenes look at making the acclaimed series.

Start your “Star Wars” marathon with “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” the newest film in the franchise that was also just released on Disney+ today.

And that’s just the beginning of Disney+’s binge-worthy, movie extravaganzas. Several other huge franchises are available on Disney+ for more marathons, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Toy Story.”

For openers, Disney+ has 10 “Star Wars” movies to enjoy:

  • “Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace”
  • “Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones”
  • “Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith,”
  • “Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope”

There are four “Toy Story” movies in the series running a little over six hours. Since its 1995 debut, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and friends have been popular with kids and adults alike.

And for those who revel in the “High School Musical” series, there are four movies to watch, plus the new TV series.
