DC Universe’s staple drama “Titans” will make its way back to the streaming service. The superhero series has been renewed for a third season as its second season is currently still airing, with new episodes available every Friday.
The renewal comes as things are a bit uncertain for DC Universe, which launched last September, before parent company, WarnerMedia, announced HBO Max. The steaming service’s best-reviewed original series, “The Doom Patrol,” was renewed for season two, but under a deal that allowed HBO Max to stream the show as well.
The current season of “Titans” introduced Esai Morales as the title team’s archenemy, Deathstroke. The character is notorious for being the most dangerous assassin in the DC Universe and has been a fan favorite since he was introduced in “The New Teen Titans,” which was published in 1980. The cast also includes Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie and many more.
DC Universe is available for $7.99 a month and gives subscribers access to original programs, including the upcoming Harley Quinn animated series, vintage superhero television shows and feature films, as well as a digital archive of DC Comics published adventures that boasts 20,000-plus issues from the company’s eight decades of masked-man mythology.
