Fresh off the heels of “American Idol,” “The Masked Singer” and “The Voice,” “America’s Got Talent” is stepping up to fill the void of talent-based competition shows. The hit series comes back tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Season 15 is coming out with a bang. The show isn’t holding back on its renowned penchant for odd and amusing talent. Season 15 will feature a mixed assortment of singers, dancers, comics, magicians and death-defying and high-flying performances, according to Parade.
“You start to think, ‘Maybe we’ve seen it all. Maybe there is nothing else special,’” host Terry Crews told Parade. “Then you go, ‘I’ve never heard a song being sung like that ever. I’ve never seen a magician like that. I’ve never seen a dancer like that.’ There is no end to human potential. That is why this show will go forever. There will be Season 35 and I will be standing here. I promise you that.”
Crews will return as host while the judges panel consists of Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. Though she retains her position as judge, Klum will be missing from some of the first episodes of the season because the former supermodel fell ill while filming back in March. She ultimately tested negative for the coronavirus after taking time off from the show. Eric Stonestreet, who co-starred with new judge Sofia Vergara in “Modern Family,” served as guest judge in place of Klum.
