Peacock Drops Trailers for Original Series Premiering at July 15 Launch

NBCUniversal has released the first looks at its slate of original series premiering with new streaming service Peacock’s July 15 national launch.

The Peacock app will be available on Android and Android TV devices (with a free three-month trial of Peacock Premium), Apple devices (including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD), Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices, Vizio SmartCast and LG smart TVs, as well as Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Flex services when it debuts.

Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Flex customers got a three-month head start on Peacock’s content, as it became available to them on April 15.

In the drama category, Peacock is premiering “Brave New World” – based on the novel by Aldous Huxley – and “The Capture,” a conspiracy thriller that looks at a troubling world of fake news and the extraordinary capabilities of the intelligence services.
