The alliance between free Pluto TV and TiVo means the latter’s customers can seamlessly access the streamer’s channels and on-demand content.
The deal nicely expands Pluto’s reach. The platform offers 250-plus channels, from news to comedy. The AVOD counts 22 million active users. Pluto has an eclectic array of shows — from music, news and documentaries to movies and esports.

Pluto TV will roll out in the next few weeks to customers on TiVo EDGE, TiVo’s premium, 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD), all-in-one media device. Versions are designed to work with HD antenna or digital cable.
Pluto TV, a ViacomCBS company, will also be available on the upcoming TiVo Stream 4K device.

TiVo+ launched in October 2019 — free to TiVo device owners. The service is a partnership with various publishers, including XUMO and Jukin Media. Content is myriad; sources include FilmRise, Outside TV+, Unsolved Mysteries, Complex Food52, Gannett, Newsy and others.
Pluto TV is also in an alliance with Verizon. The streamer will now have a key slot on Verizon’s various platforms: wireless network, Stream TV and its FiOS service. Verizon claims nearly 116 million wireless customers, another 4 million video subscribers on FiOS and 6 million FiOS broadband users, respectively.
