Verizon 4G LTE and 5G Unlimited Wireless Customers (New & Existing) to Get Disney+ Free For One Year

Verizon and Disney have partnered up to make the wireless company the exclusive U.S. wireless carrier partner for Disney+. Verizon’s wireless customers on unlimited-data plans will be getting the highly anticipated Disney+ free for one year.

When the streaming service launches on Nov. 12, Verizon will begin offering 12 months of the service to all new and existing 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless customers. Verizon customers will be able to activate their Disney+ subscriptions on a selection of mobile and connected-TV devices, including gaming consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs.

The Verizon and Disney+ partnership follows a budding trend in which streaming services are teaming up wireless companies for distribution. Just last week, Quibi—the upcoming streaming service offering millennials content that can be viewed in 10 minutes or less—announced a partnership with T-Mobile.

T-Mobile has also been partnered with Netflix for some years now, while Sprint has been partnered with Hulu.

Apple TV+, which launches merely days apart from Disney+ on Nov. 1, will be available for free to Apple customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV. The service will be $4.99 per month. otherwise.

AT&T has previously bundled HBO, and may offer a similar deal when HBO Max launches for AT&T customers. Currently, subscribers can get their Live TV skinny bundle AT&T WatchTV with their subscription.
