What’s Coming to Amazon Prime Video in December 2019, Including ‘Mrs. Maisel’ (Season 3) and ‘The Expanse’ (Season 4)

Amazon Prime Video has loads of fun shows for December, but atop many viewers’ must-see list is the return of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Season three begins Dec. 6.

The Emmy-winning series, starring Rachel Brosnahan as the irrepressible Mrs. Maisel, is as acclaimed for its novel story line — a tony, educated woman in the 1950s struggling to become a comedian — as its art direction.

Another Amazon original debuting that day is season two of “Inside Edge,” the story of a Mumbai cricket team. Other December originals include “The Aeronauts” and “LOL: Last One Laughing.”

Sci-Fi fans are eager for the fourth season of “The Expanse,” which premieres Dec. 13. Cabler Syfy ended the series after its third season; Amazon took the reins and moved it to streaming status.

Upcoming movies include “Green Book,” which won the Oscar for Best Picture this year, and “A Christmas Carol,” the computer-animated dark fantasy 2009 version.

On the holiday front, there is an array — from Laurel and Hardy’s “Babes in Toyland” to “Merry Christmas From Funny or Die.”
