Last November, YouTube TV dropped the price of Showtime to just $7 — which was $4 less than any other Live TV Streaming Service. Then, this summer they offered the channel for free from late June until September.
But now, after a year of discounts the price is going up. In an email to subscribers, YouTube TV informed them that on their next bill after November 21st — Showtime would cost $11 a month. This matches the price on other Live TV Streaming Services like Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, and PlayStation Vue.
In the letter to subscribers on the price change:
We’re writing to let you know that, starting November 21, 2019 the SHOWTIME price you were receiving of $7/month will end and SHOWTIME will return to the standard price of $11/month.
You’ll see this price change on your next bill after November 21, 2019. Everything else about your YouTube membership and billing will stay the same.
As always you can view all billing details or make changes to your account in YouTube TV settings.
