CBSN Debuts 10th OTT Service in Dallas-Fort Worth

The latest CBSN direct-to-consumer streaming service has launched.

CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth features anchored programming and coverage of breaking news produced by KTVT.

The North Texas streamer is the tenth OTT service in ViacomCBS’ planned 13-market expansion.
The others include CBSN New York, which debuted in December 2018, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco Bay Area, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Denver, Pittsburgh and Chicago.

Three more markets remain for the 24/7 streaming service: Miami, Baltimore and Sacramento, California.

“We are extremely pleased with the success of our first nine CBSN Local services and look forward to going 10-for-10 with the launch of CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth,” said Peter Dunn, president, CBS Television Stations. “The demand for premium news content on streaming platforms is strong and will be a driver of our future success.”

Gary Schneider, president and general manager, KTVT and independent sister station KTXA-TV, called it “a landmark event in CBS 11’s history.”

CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth is available via CBSN, on and on the CBS News apps for mobile and connected TV devices. In addition, the service is available through and the CBS Local mobile app.

All CBSN local platforms are ad-supported, part of the live channels in CBS All Access in their respective markets.
