fuboTV Appears to Be Adding Support For Apple’s TV App

This morning, various Fubo subscribers noticed that noticed that the service now appears to be included in Apple’s TV App. The app allows users to search for shows using Siri or Text and open directly in the Fubo App.

It doesn’t appear to be fully rolled out because unlike other services, there is no prompt to include Fubo in the App, nor does it appear as an available service in the Settings of the TV App.

Currently, it looks like it only supports cable and network shows, as well as sports on national channels like NBCSN and FS1. It doesn’t include games on Regional Sports Networks like MSG, NESN, or Fox Sports/NBC Sports RSNs.

To try it out, search for a show like This is Us and you’ll notice an option to open the show in the Fubo app. For upcoming shows and events, you can add them to your “Up Next” list for easy access in fuboTV.

The only other Live TV Streaming Service to support Apple’s TV App, PlayStation Vue, added support in October. Other services like DIRECTV NOW and YouTube TV haven’t added integration with the app yet. While Hulu also supports the TV App, it is only available for their SVOD service, not Hulu Live TV.

You can see a full list of streaming integrations to the TV App here.
