Chelsea comes into Saturday’s match after an eventful season. Not only were they led by a new manager this season, but they managed to finish fourth in the league. The team also finished third for goals scored in the season and was 11th in goals allowed, reports ESPN.

Chelsea also boasts a strong team with both newbies and veterans proving to be essential. Tammy Abraham, 22, scored 15 goals this season, while wingers Willian and Christian Pulisic pulled off a combined 18 goals and 11 assists. And Olivier Giroud scored eight in 18 league appearances — six of them after the league came back.

Arsenal is also in new hands with Mikel Arteta coaching the team. Earlier this month, the squad managed to score a victory over Premier League champions Liverpool, a feat which enabled Arteta to campaign for more financial investment into the team. The Gunners also pulled off a 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the same week.

“These are strange circumstances, of course, with Liverpool playing for statistics and City focused on the Champions League, but the Gunners have beaten the best two teams in England in the same week by exhibiting the kind of commitment, focus and discipline many of the component parts have often lacked,” ESPN reported.
